Suzy Lundy purchased Kennel Des Les Anges from Ron and Laurette Rath in 2014. With her decades of experience as an animal professional and boundless love for dogs, she transformed the business and won a dedicated clientele. For many dozens of families, her facility was the only place they felt fully comfortable taking their pets. A great number of clients and employees enjoyed a closeness with Suzy because of her direct and daily involvement in the kennel, and she worked tirelessly to maintain the highest standards of care.
I am so grateful for the years I was able to spend with my dear friend Suzy. In remembrance of her life and legacy, we have created a scholarship for young people seeking to pursue a career in animal stewardship. This scholarship is being offered for students at Waynesville High School, just two minutes from Kennel Des Les Anges. We are offering a base award of $500 and will match donations to this cause up to $500.
