Elle Michener
Elle’s passion for animals and her special love for the dogs was evident from the moment she started at KDLA. After having the opportunity to meet and play with many different breeds at work, a pair of Springers won her over, and she got an English Springer Spaniel puppy of her own. She also has goats, chickens, and even a pony! Elle is currently studying Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship.
Lindsey Zehring
Lindsey has been working at Kennel Des Les Anges since 2020. She loves all dogs, but there’s a special place in her heart for those floppy-eared hounds. In the time since she started here, she convinced her family to get a sweet beagle named Ripley, and she recently rescued a tabby cat named Ginger. Along with managing the kennel, Lindsey is earning her degree in Biology at Wright State University. When she isn’t studying or playing with your pups, she loves traveling and going to concerts!
Jesse Wessendarp
Jesse began working at Kennel Des Les Anges as a kennel technician in 2018. She has always loved animals and wanted to work with dogs since she was a little girl. In 2020, she was promoted to full time manager under Suzy Lundy. Suzy took Jesse under her wing and invested an incredible amount of time teaching her what she had learned in 40+ years of working with dogs. They came to have a very close relationship, with Suzy claiming Jesse as her daughter.
Suzy fell ill in 2023 and passed in early 2024. It was her wish that Jesse carry on Kennel Des Les Anges and her legacy of love for all animals in her care. In June of that year, Jesse and her husband purchased the business from Suzy’s estate. They are committed to honoring her memory by never compromising on quality and never failing to put pets first.
